A heart rate monitor provides instant feedback on the level of your effort during your workout. Too little or too much can both impede gradual progress. A monitor measures your pulse and together with your target heart rate you can ensure optimal workouts.
While the PACE Heart Rate Monitor was specifically designed and priced to compliment Dr Al Sears' PACE Exercise Program it can be used to help any fitness program. The product is easy to use and avoids all the uneccessary features higher-priced heart rate monitors provide that you don't need.
Personal Trainer Resources:
Planet Fitness in Milford offers basic membership for $10 per month. Their equipment is kept in good condition and the staff are very helpful. You'll find it a relaxed atmosphere with all manner of fitness levels accommodated. The front desk keeps a list of staff that act as personal trainers - the rates are very reasonable, and there are usually specials on offer.
